Three questions carry most of the anxiety. They are answered from the pages you can already read, not from a block we failed to save and then pretended to quote.
The People Also Ask block was not captured on 28 September 2026. These are the worries the pages already cover, not a scrape.
What should you pull first? The wage and income transcript, before anyone rebuilds a year from memory. It lists forms the IRS already holds. We do not log in as you.
What does a substitute leave out? Deductions and receipts you still have. Your own return is how those amounts enter the year. If a substitute was assessed, the account transcript shows what was placed on the account.
Can a refund year be skipped because later years owe? That skip is how a refund runs out of its window. The claim window is generally three years from the return's due date. Later debt does not keep the window open.
Source. Get the wage and income transcript before rebuilding a year. The reader orders it. This desk does not log in as the reader. Read 29 September 2026 at https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
Source. A substitute can omit deductions, a deficiency notice can follow, a refund claim is generally three years from the return due date, and a lender may ask for filed returns. Read 29 September 2026 at https://www.irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employed/filing-past-due-tax-returns
Putting the years into one stack and preparing them is the work this address does. Answering a levy, a lien or a deficiency notice on your behalf is representative work that belongs with a firm that does it, and bargaining a balance down is not something that happens here. No CPA license sits at this desk, so signed reports on statements go elsewhere too. All of that is spelled out at more length on the disclosures page.
If yours is slightly different, send it. The answer should still sound like a year, a transcript, or a window.
You can read the longer pages and never write. That is a fine use of the site.
One worry is a complete message. Years, if you know them, help.
You will be talking to the Steven Palmieri practice.
